Senior FMS Executive Secretary
Job Description:
An established government contractor is seeking a Senior FMS Executive Secretary to provide high-level administrative support within a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) environment supporting a high-visibility program in Arlington, Virginia. This role will directly support senior leadership, ensuring effective coordination of schedules, communications, and program activities in a fast-paced government setting.
This position requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. The Senior FMS Executive Secretary will manage executive calendars, coordinate meetings and travel, prepare correspondence and reports, and support the flow of information across the organization. The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness is critical to success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience supporting senior leaders within a DoD or government contracting environment, specifically within an FMS program. Familiarity with international coordination, program office operations, and government processes will be important, particularly in environments requiring interaction across multiple stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience providing executive-level administrative support
- Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
- Experience supporting DoD or government contracting environments
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
- Experience with video conferencing platforms such as Webex and Zoom
- Familiarity with the Defense Travel System (DTS)
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to manage executive calendars, taskers, and high-volume coordination efforts
This position is based in Arlington, Virginia, with approximately 10% travel.
