Job Description:
An established government contractor is seeking an experienced Executive Secretary to provide executive-level administrative support within a program at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This role will support senior leadership, ensuring seamless coordination of schedules, communications, and program-related activities in a structured government environment.
This position requires professionalism, discretion, and strong attention to detail. The Executive Secretary will manage calendars, coordinate meetings and travel, prepare correspondence and reports, and support the flow of information across the organization. The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness is critical to success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting leadership within a DoD or government contracting environment and will be comfortable operating in a mission-driven setting. Familiarity with program office operations, military customs, and government processes will be important, particularly in environments requiring coordination across multiple stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience providing executive-level administrative support
- Experience supporting DoD or government contracting environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
- Experience with video conferencing platforms such as Webex and Zoom
- Familiarity with the Defense Travel System (DTS)
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to manage executive calendars and support high-volume coordination
This position is based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, with approximately 10% travel.
